Take it off-road this year and
experience the south's premier trail running series. We are inviting
runners from across the region to come out and show us what they're
made on one of Louisiana's best trail systems. There are 4 races in
the series spread out over the course of the year with each race
covering a different distance and route. Runners can participate in
each race individually or compete in the series by completing more
than one event. Awards will be given out at each race, and at the
end of the season an overall Series Champion will be named along
with age-group series winners. |

Club South
Runners
(CSR),
organized in 1977, is a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is
the promotion and encouragement of running for physical fitness and
sport. The membership is comprised of men, women, and children of all
ages representing a wide range of running experience. CSR-sponsored
events range from road races, fun runs, fitness clinics, and social
events, to cross country runs and track meets. Proceeds from CSR races
and membership fees are put back into the club to purchase or replace
equipment, print and mail race schedules and information to members, and
to purchase awards for scheduled races. Volunteers do all club
promotions and race
management, and run the club's internal
affairs. |
